Playing 4 tables and focusing intensely on post flop play is super effective.

It's also super draining and stressful. It's like playing chess where you can't see all of the pieces.

I miss the days of playing 15 tables of FR at 14/11. It was more like playing a video game and shooting aliens.

It was relaxing, in a way, like sitting in a hammock and watching the waves.

Happy New Year to all.

Well, sitting in a Hammock is bad for the red line. I did add more tables, played some FR, and focused less at times.

I am 10 buy ins below all in EV at NL10 6 max.

I will try my best to remain focused on only 4 tables of 6max, and perhaps on the side play the 1 or 2 FR tables that are running. I would really like to get just through the micros already and not stay grinding at these levels.

Results for December:

I'd love to try these short games at 25, but I can't get outta 10. I'll be patient. I've only played 6000 hands this at 10 6-max month so far.

Do I get a prize for this on WPN?

Nice. Be nicer to know wtf they call with. Is there a logical reason for WPN not showing cards that went to showdown?

Keep in mind that the short stack $25nl games are $12.50 buy ins, it isn't much more than full stacked $10nl, and the games are way softer imo. Higher variance, so I guess it's a bit risky on a tight bankroll, but you have a lot of experience in this type of game, and in much tougher games of this type, so it's likely very worthwhile for you to take shots at these games as often as possible. I think you'll be shocked beyond belief at how soft they are, I know I was / am.

I have taken shots at 25 full ring, as the variance is lower of course (went well though they are loaded with beast players). I can also reload, if needed. But last night there were no short tables running.

I've been playing here and there and I almost have 20K hands at NL10 6-max since I started playing again in December last year. I will post soon. After my busy tax season I will study a bit more often too I think - will try to beat NL25 6 max at WPN at some point without playing the short tables - just because it's a challenge.

I don 't like the shoving on paired board and I don't like blocking the kings and queens though.

Hmmm not sure I get 1 in 3 folds thinking about it - and I guess need 1 in 3 when my over-card outs are good.

1 in 2 if not, I figure.

This villain has an extremely high cbet flop and turn frequency, which means I can just wait to hit my KQ on the flop and make money. No need to bluff too much here.
