He, I`m sure gonna stick around for a while, so here`s my blog. Last few years I`ve spent a whole lot of time in personal health and fitness, it sure got me some swagger but it`s the money that talks .. wish my bankroll was just as present as my abs ...

I`m from holland (special greetings to king charles here) and I play at stars.
I like the software and the pond is just sooo filled. The traffic is just uge.
I play only full ring. AS it it played everywhere.

I would like to keep some goals in this blog so here goes -->

- I try to play about 5 k hands per week that`s about 25 k per month. I`m a bussy man. 3 kids a job sport . .
- bankroll management. I`ll move up as soon as I have 30 buy ins on a new level and I will go down when I have less then 25 buy ins on the present level. My confidence and or handsample may ask for higher rolls before stepping up.
- become a winning 25 or even 50 nl player by the end of this year. All from playing poker. Rake (vpp`s etc) are all saved for a cashout around christmas. No tourney`s will be played accept free rolls and maybe the ones with money added.

I want to start at 101 and when it got some muscle memory I want to start PLAYING THE PLAYERS from there.

I`ll try to post my graph effevry month, or wen I move up (or down) and wenever I feel like it or got questions soo stay tuned ;)

well here`s my graph so far all 2 nl for now

Ps: edit because I want my goals here, clear for future reference.

I don't think it's correct to put him on that range. That range likely 4b pf. Sorry about the beat, it happens. You have really solid results! Keep it up!

i think you can bet turn smaller in case he has AdKd or AdQd or KdQd .60 still lets you get it all in on the river barring scare cards of which there are loads , you don't want to see any card high than a 9 J,q,k,A or diamond. By the time you see that river what did you think you were beating that would stack off with a double paired board. Any T or J has you crushed. you may get Ax stabbing if you check, letting you call a small bet .

"Did I play this a bit good ??"

Not in my opinion. Raise the flop. Don't min raise the turn, don't min raise anything, ever, at this stake.

"I think villain played not that good really."

Villain played his hand near perfectly in my opinion. He flopped top pair/top kicker with the nut flush draw, that is an absolute monster of a hand. And even against the absolute top of your range he had 31% equity and should never consider anything except getting the chips in the middle. His only mistake was not jamming on your turn raise, but with you having only 27c behind, it didn't really matter so long as he puts them in on 100% of rivers and never considers folding. He didn't get lucky, and you didn't get unlucky, that's just how poker goes when two monster hands run into each other, one wins and one loses, ...whether you win it or lose it you should just forget about it and move on to the next hand.

PPffieuuww, finaly there 8O rolled for 5 nl !!! 8-)

About the hands posted above, well so much for to much volume on sundays and specially chasing stupid points on happy hours !! I switched the hands in my head. Villain in the first hand played bad.
In the second hand, I only called on the flop as there where two pleople left to act after me. About the turn minraise, thnxs krcdmc for pointing it out. Normally I always bet more then just pressing raise but I do minraise. In this case I had little time (20 tables ..) and I had only 27 cents left so it wouldn`t matter al that much.

Anny way, at 65K hands now. I`m rolled for 5NL have 150 bucks. And I free`d my first $10 stellar rewards for my christmas cashout. At 60K I reached the mark but as I was closing the tables I hit this hand where I got drawn out and ran into a cooler from there. Cost me about 5 k hands get back.
But as I move up and down more and more I get more comfortably with that to.

Hope to improve my results a little though, still got lots to learn.
Every time I losse money I just know its my own fault, but then again, thats one of the things that triggers me to play poker.

About 5NL, I always had a hard time there. Is there anything special to look out for ?? At 10NL and 25NL I played normal but at 5NL I always lost (smal samples). Hope to put an end to all that NOW!

At 5NL there will be less of the very loose/passive types. This means that you will not get as many callers when you have monsters. Don't let this frustrate you. Bet big anyway and ignore the folds. Less big value means longer periods of time where your graph goes sideways and down. Don't let this discourage you. Don't change your game because of that.

Next is the betting. You will be facing more of it. Regs will be 3betting hands like AQ, AK, JJ and QQ more often. They will also be betting made hands instead of checking them. Don't let this make you think that they are bluffing more. Betting more often does not mean bluffing more.

Work to improve your blind stealing. Also you can isolate more as you can get at the fish heads up a bit better than at 2NL.

Table select. Dont sit with all regs. I know you want to be a predator and beat regs, but practice it for free - that is while there are fish at the table. Don't worry, you will have plenty of chances to practice against regs, lol. If you cannot locate a loose player at your table then it's probably best to find another or take a break. In the mean time, while you are going after the fish, take some time and energy to observe the regs a bit. Only try to make money from them is something very obvious stands out, especially if they are good.

Be patient and good luck.
